The Meaning Behind Camp Cook’s Cache
Camp Cook’s Cache was born from the love of camping and the great outdoors, those memorable cooking experiences you shared with yourself or loved ones, and the chance to share trade secrets with our customers and followers. Initially starting as a hobby project, Camp Cook’s Cache soon grew into a business idea. We are passionate about food and have a desire to change the way camp cooking is experienced on Cape Breton Island, across Nova Scotia, and anywhere else our food ends up! We hope to find our meals accompanying and satisfying you on your next trip into the backcountry, the family camp ground, on the road or even at home.
They are built to be convenient, packed with as much nutrition as possible, and great tasting. Our food is sold in compostable packaging, which is great for “packing out” some of those food items you packed in. We aim for low-impact packaging, and sell in 2 portions or more to reduce the number of packages that spread out into the community, and inevitably our cherished natural environments.
