VEGAN, VEGETARIAN, GLUTEN-FREE, DAIRY-FREE
We offer a variety of choices for adventures and traveling. Most of the options we offer are vegan or vegetarian, but we do have options with meat. We enjoy a low-waste lifestyle, and vegan foods tend to be lower in fats and therefore shelf stable and long lasting. Vegan options make for both convenient and ethical, healthy meals.
MAKING IT EASY TO “PACK IT OUT”
Our packaging is home compostable, is made without any PLA, BPA, GMO or animal products, and is free of any fluorinated chemicals such as PFAS (a common chemical used in food packaging – the same chemical that makes your rain jacket “waterproof”). All labels and packaging are printed with vegetable-based inks, and manufactured using wind/turbine energy. We sell in two portions or more to reduce the number of packages end up in our cherished natural environments.
About the Founders
Camp Cook's Cache was born when a love for good food and the great outdoors collided. Our love of food means a dedication to fine-tuning our recipes to create something that is so tasty, it has you stoked to make dinner after an exhausting day of hiking, paddling, travelling, snowshoeing, or skiing. It also means we try our best to bring variety to the table, while sourcing out ingredients locally or organically wherever possible. As for the great outdoors, they are the inspiration behind the stories our food tells, and the driving force in our products' practical and minimalistic qualities.
